BuildingDurj
Born out of a real problem — a company acquisition where nothing was on paper. In a business that had always run on trust and handshakes, tracking assets, ownership, and subscriptions was a mess. Months after the sale, mystery charges kept showing up from services no one could trace. Durj was built to solve it. A multi-tenant platform for Qatar SMBs — asset management, subscription monitoring, HR, and supplier onboarding. 8 modules including leave management compliant with Qatar Labour Law. Your manager too busy to log in and approve that leave request? No problem — approval notifications go straight to WhatsApp, and they can approve or reject right there. It's logged, reflected in the system, done. Built for Qatar, built in Qatar.
WhatsApp-First Booking Platform
A complete room booking system for Innovation Cafe: web portal, admin dashboard with analytics, SkipCash payments, Google Calendar sync, voucher codes, automated reminders (24h/2h/15min via email and WhatsApp). But 30-50% of repeat customers still preferred WhatsApp over the portal. So I added a WhatsApp channel with a three-layer NLP parser (regex, GPT-4o-mini, business rule validation) that lets them book in plain English or Arabic. Both channels feed into the same backend.
Built Our Own Bit.ly
A video in our tender got blocked on YouTube after we'd already submitted. The QR in the document pointed at a dead page and we couldn't change it. Built a shortlink platform on links.bce.qa so that never happens again. Destinations swap anytime, every click gets tracked, and we get an email the moment someone opens a link. Built it in a weekend, $0/month.
CV Collection Bot
Candidzone's recruiters were downloading CVs from WhatsApp, renaming them, and dragging them into Drive folders by hand. I built a bot on their WhatsApp number that handles the whole intake: candidate picks 'Submit CV', gives their details, uploads the file. It lands in Drive organized by date, recruiter gets an email. First week: 1,500+ CVs collected, 77% completion rate.
Sessions Platform
My WhatsApp number kept getting blocked for manually blasting joining links to registrants. Email confirmations went to spam. Built the whole session flow into my own website — registration, seat limits, waitlist, automatic WhatsApp confirmations and reminders, tracked join links, post-session feedback. First session through the system: 244 registrations, 183 clicked the join link 10 minutes before start. 74%.
bce.qa Rebuild
The company got acquired and rebranded. New name, new domain. The old WordPress site had nothing right on it anymore. I rebuilt the whole thing on Next.js: a hero that animates the name change from becreative to bce, internal pages for sharing company documents, and a domain migration that moved all 102 indexed URLs from becreative.qa without breaking a single one.
